This gelding has HUGE potential as a roper, barrel racer or any competitive event you may want a winning horse. He is bred from Ridsdale Performance Horses where they only breed barrel and chuck wagon horses. He is a 7 yr old SOLID 15.2 bay with 4 white socks and a star snip and strip. Lots of chrome on this boy! This gelding’s full brother is running pro (barrels) and there is no reason this guy can’t do the same I just haven’t had the time to put into him lately and I feel bad just watching him sit and waste. He has had a bit of time off (about 6 months) due to previous owner(s) neglect and needs some chiropractor work for his back end so he is using himself properly. He is sound to ride; he just drags his rear toes in a circle, worse going to the left but nothing horrific. He has no other health issues thus far. He has great hard feet, good teeth (were just done on April 17th, 2009) he is utd with his deworming and feet. He loves people and kids. He does require an experienced rider with a firm gentle hand but has had reining training and dressage training in the past so he is broke but needs a refresher from having so much time off. He has been around cows and done cattle drives and been rode in the mountains but can sometimes get hot out in the open so needs some miles. He is a really nice horse, not mean at all just needs someone who is going to put the time into him. He isn’t registered as we speak but I have the papers all filled out ready to send in. I will only sell this guy to someone who knows chiropractor work or who will find someone who does. He will not go back to the way he was when he leaves my hands. Selling from lack of time as I have another paint I would like to show this year and this guy needs to go to someone with the time I don’t have and I would like to see him go and be used to his potential.
